2024 MLP Playoffs Field Set Following Conclusion of Regular Season

It has been a landmark year for MLP and a thrilling regular season. The completion of Edward Jones MLP Miami means that the 2024 MLP Playoffs take center stage, beginning this Friday in Dallas!

The top six teams at each level have earned playoff spots, with the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds receiving byes into the Semifinals. The No. 3 seeds earned the right to select the No. 5 or No. 6 seed as their opponent for the Quarterfinals, with the remaining team facing off against the No. 4 seed. Those selections, and the Quarterfinals match schedule grid, will be shared tomorrow.

The Premier and Challenger Playoff fields are as follows:

Premier Level Playoff Teams

• No. 1 New Jersey 5s – Earned a bye into the Semis in Orlando and will select their Semifinal opponent
• No. 2 St. Louis Shock – Earned a bye into the Semis in Orlando and will play other team to advance from Dallas
• No. 3 Dallas Flash – Will select their Quarterfinal opponent (either the No. 5 or 6 seed) tomorrow
• No. 4 D.C. Pickleball Team – Will face the remaining team (No. 5 or 6 seed) in the Quarterfinals
• No. 5 Texas Ranchers
• No. 6 New York Hustlers

Challenger Level Playoff Teams

• No. 1 Chicago Slice – Earned a bye into the Semis & 2025 promotion to the Premier Level
• No. 2 SoCal Hard Eights – Earned a bye into the Semis & 2025 promotion to the Premier Level
• No. 3 Miami Pickleball Club – Will select their Quarterfinal opponent (either the No. 5 or 6 seed) tomorrow
• No. 4 Atlanta Bouncers – Will face the remaining team (No. 5 or 6 seed) in the Quarterfinals
• No. 5 Las Vegas Night Owls
• No. 6 Frisco Pandas

Additional acknowledgement to the Chicago Slice and SoCal Hard Eights, who have earned promotion to Premier for 2025 by virtue of their regular season performance (they earned byes directly to the Challenger Semifinals). The two Challenger teams that win their Quarterfinals matchup will advance to the Semis and lock in 2025 promotion to Premier.
