Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Catherine was first introduced to tennis at 4. In 2011, she graduated from a Félix-Leclerc secondary school and continues to grow in her skills in tennis.
Her true determination and passion for the sports were proven right when she was hired by the University of Arkansas’s (UA) 1 NCAA tennis team in 2011. She ranked in the top 5 for women’s tennis in Canada.
Then, she transferred to Michigan State University and continued her tennis career as a member of the MSU women’s tennis team. She completed her graduation from MSU in pre-veterinary medicine in 2015. She played tennis for three years for MSU women’s tennis team.
Catherine Parenteau Pickleball Career
While completing studies and playing tennis, Catherine was introduced to pickleball by her coach, Simone Jardim, in 2015. Catherine loves pickleball, and in just 6 months, she competed in the US Open, won a 5.0 mixed bracket and started her career as a professional pickleball player.
She won the US Open in the pro women’s double division with her partner in 2021.
She also won the US Open championship three times and has 16 PPA Tour titles on her name.
