Pickleball players should always strive towards being efficient with both their movement and their strokes. According to top pro coach Morgan Evans, the vast majority of recreational players don't do a good enough job moving to close the gap in the middle after dinking wide. Today's lesson is rapid recovery at the NVZ (or Kitchen) Line. There are three parts to every pickleball shot: receiving, sending, and recovering. To achieve our goal of more efficient recovery to the middle, we're going to try and combine the last two elements on the backhand side of the court with two different footwork options after dinking out wide.
