Explaining my exact thought process and decision making for my match in the PPA Atlanta Slam. The Average DUPR on court was 6.0 🤯 There were 3 main takeaways I got from this match. 🤔💭 1. Dinking to the middle of the kitchen won us many points. 👉 Often times, players try to ‘over create’ when you dink middle, which leads to a popped up ball you can attack.🛡️🗡️ 2. One bad dink / shot can completely shift the momentum of the point. 👉 There are many examples where we were super ahead in points. Then one ‘passive’ dink allowed the opponent to take full control and dictate the point. 3. Having a developed Pickleball IQ WILL win you more points. 👉 Since I know what shots should be hit in specific scenarios... it allows me to act accordingly and take advantage before the ball is hit!
