But after watching an episode of 60 Minutes about prisons, Roger had an epiphany. He recognized the powerful lessons that could be learned through the game he loved and believed those life lessons could be applied to inmates on the episode he was watching. So Roger reached out to the Sheriff he saw on TV and a few weeks later found himself teaching pickleball in Cook County Correctional Facility. It's an amazing story of one man's mission to give back through the sport he loves, but also a testament to the power this game has over people.
