The regular season has been building towards crowning each level’s champion and the stakes have never been higher – in a construct unique in American pro team sports, the Challenger Level semifinalists – No. 1 Chicago Slice, No. 2 SoCal Hard Eights, No. 3 Miami Pickleball Club, and No. 4 Atlanta Bouncers – secured 2025 promotion to the Premier Level.
The top six teams at each level – by regular season standings points – gained playoff entry and the chance to win their level’s 2024 championship. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds earned byes directly to their respective Semifinals.
Each playoff matchup – with the exception of the winner-take-all 3rd Place matches – is a best-of-three matches series, where the first team to win two matches will advance. All information that follows applies to both the Premier and Challenger Levels.
In the Quarterfinals, seeds No. 3-6 were in action and the highest seeded team (No. 3) selected their opponent, with the two remaining teams facing off in the other matchup.
Throughout the Playoffs, the higher seeded team in each matchup will receive first choice on all four coin toss decisions (Serve/receive; End; React in mixed; Gender doubles order) and respond to the lineup for the DreamBreaker for the first two playoff matches. If a series goes to a third match, the regular season coin toss process will be conducted.
In the Semifinals, the highest seeded team (No. 1) will choose their opponent (cannot be the No. 2 seed) and the higher seeded teams in all Semifinals and Finals matchups will receive first choice on all coin flip decisions, as noted above.
