MLP Announces 2024 Challenger Level Draft Order

The upcoming 2024 Challenger Level Draft on April 3 will operate under the snake format, with teams picking in order from 1-12 in Rounds 1 and 3 and in reverse 12-1 order in Rounds 2 and 4.

The Challenger Draft Order was randomly selected (represents the order in odd-numbered rounds; this will reverse in even-numbered rounds):

2. ATX Pickleballers
3. Chicago Slice
4. Milwaukee Mashers
5. Miami Pickleball Club
6. Atlanta Bouncers
7. Florida Smash
8. Brooklyn Aces
9. SoCal Hard 8s
10. Las Vegas Night Owls
11. Bay Area Breakers
12. California Black Bears

MLP’s Challenger Level has a structure unique to U.S. pro sports, with the top four teams at the end of 2024 earning promotion to the Premier Level in 2025.

Challenger Level features a crop of 48 players who are looking to become pro pickleball’s next stars.
