MLP Kansas City – Event FAQ

See below for answers to frequently asked questions about MLP Kansas City, August 3-5.

Where will matches be live streamed?
All matches will have live coverage, according to the following schedule: 

• Saturday and Sunday’s Championship Court matches will be live streamed on Pickleball TV, starting with the second match of the day… All Monday Championship Court matches will air on PBTV
• All Grandstand Court matches, and the first Championship Court match of the day on Saturday and Sunday, will air on the MLP YouTube channel
• Linear TV windows:
  • Saturday: FS1 from 1-3 p.m. local CT (2-4 p.m. ET)
  • Sunday: FS1: 1-3 p.m. local CT (2-4 p.m. ET)
  • Monday:
    • Tennis Channel: Noon-4 p.m. local CT (1-5 p.m. ET)
    • FS2: tape delayed 7-9 p.m. local CT (8-10 p.m. ET; one of Sunday’s 12 p.m. or ~2 p.m. matches)

*PickleballTV is available on these platforms: Amazon Prime Video, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, Plex, and Fubo. 

What is the parking situation at the venue?
Public parking adjacent to Elite Tennis & Wellness (see parking map here) is $10 – both cash and Venmo are accepted. If using a rideshare service, you may head to the designated rideshare drop-off point, just outside the main entrance. Venue address: 14481 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66223).

What time do the doors open every day?
Doors will open 1 hour before matches start each day. View the daily schedule HERE.

Is there a map of the venue?
See the full venue layout here. Note, following MLP Kansas City, the Carvana PPA Tour will host the Selkirk Kansas City Open (August 7-11) at Elite Tennis & Wellness, so this map reflects the set up for both events.

What does VIP include? 
You can find more information about what’s included in the Michelob Ultra Courtside Lounge ticket packages and pricing HERE. Space is limited, so don’t wait to purchase! 

Can I bring a cooler or backpack in with my own food/drink? 
No outside food or drink is allowed. There will be concession food options for purchase inside the venue. If you’d like to bring a reusable water bottle, there are fountains inside the venue.

Where can I stay updated with live event results and current standings?
You can find the link to follow live event results and standings on our website. Click HERE to access the latest updates and scores. This is MLP’s second regular season event.

Can I live stream tournament matches from my personal devices or film the matches for personal use?
The filming of MLP matches from personal devices is not permitted unless you have obtained written approval from Major League Pickleball prior to the event.

Are there specific courts available for recreational playing throughout the event?
All practice courts are reserved exclusively for teams and players to warm-up and practice during the event.
