United Pickleball Association (UPA) is reducing its MLP Challenger Level division by two teams for the 2024 season. These teams, Austin Pickleballers and Milwaukee Mashers, are being acquired by UPA. On the heels of the recent merger of MLP and PPA, UPA has been empowered to make thoughtful investments as it scales its platform with a focus on growth and profitability.

The Challenger Level Draft will feature 10 teams in 2024. UPA expects MLP to return to 24 teams in the future.

Adjusted 2024 Challenger Level Draft order:

Frisco Pandas
Chicago Slice
Miami Pickleball Club
Atlanta Bouncers
Florida Smash
Brooklyn Aces
SoCal Hard 8s
Las Vegas Night Owls
Bay Area Breakers
California Black Bears
