PBX Hosts First Pro-Am Event in Glendale, AZ

On Tuesday, October 17th, we hosted our first PBX Pro-Am in Glendale, AZ.

Pickleball players of all levels reserved a spot in a truly one-of-a-kind experience, playing with and against retired professional athletes.

The Arizona Pro-Am included 5x MLB All-Star Luis Gonzalez, who famously led the Arizona Diamondbacks to a World Series Championship in 2001, and retired NFL Quarterback Jake Plummer, who played with Arizona State and the Arizona Cardinals.

The roster also included 4x World Series Champion Tino Martinez, American swimmer and Olympic Gold Medalist Breeja Larson, 2x MLB All-Star Brad Penny, and 2x MLB All-Star Jeff Cirillo. PBX Pickleball Head Coach and pro pickleball player Ryan Sherry also participated.
