The FLiK F1 is an unabashed power paddle that beats the competition on a variety of levels: performance, durability, and price. You just didn't know it existed. Until now.
There’s a good chance you haven’t heard much about FLiK Pickleball.
That’s not entirely by design, but it’s definitely been the reality.
While bigger brands have dominated the spotlight, FLiK has spent its time quietly building high-performance paddles that quite literally define the upper echelons of how a legal power paddle can perform.
Take the F1, a full-foam, elongated paddle that sits at the very top end of allowable power — and still costs well under most of its competitors.
It’s the kind of paddle that would be everywhere… if more people knew it existed.
Even CEO Tom Parker will tell you as much.
“You haven’t heard of it because our marketing sucks.”He’s not entirely wrong.
But the paddle? Now that’s a story worth telling.
A 'Rocket Launcher' By Design
The FLiK F1 lives at the outer edge of what’s allowed in pickleball.
Built with a patent-pending full EPP foam core, the F1 was designed with a very specific goal: maximize power as defined by USA Pickleball standards without crossing the line — or drifting over it with repeated, long-term use.
Anyone who's played even a few shots with it can attest it achieved that goal. But don't just take our word for it: it sits at the very top of the power charts in paddle reviewer John Kew's prolific paddle database, which he updates regularly.
“This paddle was designed to be a power paddle, a full-blown rocket launcher, period," says FLiK Founder Fred Robinson.
The beauty lies in its predictability. A durable foam core means the power remains steady, even after repeated use.
“If you play with our F1 three weeks, one month, three months from now, it’s not going to be more powerful," adds Robinson. "It doesn’t get more powerful… it stays there.”
In other words: the F1 doesn't heat up over time. It starts hot and stays there.
Stacking codes "GASMEUP" and "THEDINK" brings the F1 price down to an unbeatable $126.
F1's Secret Sauce
The F1’s performance starts at the core.
Instead of traditional honeycomb construction, FLiK leaned into expanded polypropylene (EPP) — a foam material that offers a responsive feel, better durability, and more consistent performance over the lifetime of the paddle.
“Playing with a honeycomb paddle can feel like hitting a plastic ball with a metal trash can lid,” says Robinson.
Some people prefer that feel. But performance, durability, and affordability have always been the sweet spot for FLiK.
That led to years of experimentation — different densities, constructions, and even structural tweaks like perforation, before arriving at the secret sauce that brought the F1 to the very limit of allowable pop and power.
The result? A paddle with 95 precision-drilled holes in the core, designed to introduce subtle but noticeable face flex and improve feel without sacrificing power.
“That little bit of flex is what helps you generate such immense spin and power,” Robinson explains.
When Power Meets Price
The F1 isn’t just competing with the biggest names in power — it’s undercutting them.
FLiK is currently running a promotion called GASMEUP.
We know that for many of you, the court is your "happy place"—the one spot where you can clear your head and just play. We don't want the pain at the pump to be the reason you stay home.Let us buy your next tank of gas. You fuel up your game. We'll fuel up your car. That gets you $50 off your paddle right away. (A promotion, the brand tells us, that isn't going away anytime soon.)
Stack that deal on top of ours (just use code THEDINK at checkout), and you're looking at a full-foam power paddle for $126. Which we're willing to bet is just about the best deal in pickleball.
Even at its full price of $190, it sits well below many flagship competitors pushing into the $220–$300 range.
That combination — elite power + top-end spin + foam core + sub-$150 price point — is rarified air in today's paddle market.
Stack codes "GASMEUP" and "THEDINK" for nearly $100 off a new FLiK F1 power paddle.
Why You Haven’t Heard of It (Yet)
FLiK didn’t start as a paddle company.
The brand began as Body Helix and traces back to performance compression gear, where Robinson, himself a former competitive tennis player and multiple USTA National Champion, focused on building products that actually respected top athletes in physically demanding sports like power lifting, baseball, volleyball, gymnastics, and more.
That same athlete-first mindset carried into pickleball.
"Let’s treat you like I would treat you if you were my son or daughter,” Robinson says. “I know how much work it takes to perform at your full potential."
From there, it evolved — first into better paddle handles (inspired by real tennis grips), then into full-blown paddle innovation.
The problem? None of it was getting noticed.
“We’ve punched four of the five numbers on the combination lock,” Robinson says about FLiK's evolution into a top-tier paddle brand.
“Number five is marketing — we haven’t punched that number yet.”That's why the F1 is quite possibly the best power paddle you've never heard of. And the same goes for their newest launch, the F3 – a more control-oriented option with three foam rings of increasing density in the core.

The Bottom Line
The FLiK F1 isn’t for everyone.
It’s a true power paddle to its core. If you’re not ready for it, it will let you know.
“You’ve got to tone down your strokes,” says Robinson.
“You don’t swing the same with this paddle… you don’t have to.”But for players chasing maximum firepower without sacrificing legality, durability, or price, it's easily the best option not already flooding your local rec play.
For now.
