Schedule Update – 2023 Season 2 Playoffs

MLP by Margaritaville has modified December’s scheduled MLP SoCal – the final planned event of 2023 – to the two-day Season 2 Playoffs, now taking place Monday, Dec. 4, and Tuesday, Dec. 5. MLP is extremely excited to crown the Season 2 Premier and Challenger Level champions while we also continue vital integration planning with PPA to ensure success in 2024 and beyond.

The Premier Level’s top four teams, based on results from MLP Atlanta and MLP Dallas – Orlando Squeeze, D.C. Pickleball Team, Chicago Slice, and Miami Pickleball Club – will play for the Season 2 championship.

Three of Challenger Level’s leading teams – SoCal Hard Eights, California BLQK Bears, and St. Louis Shock – will play for the Season 2 championship.

All Premier Level matches will air on ESPN2 or Tennis Channel, with additional coverage on MSG Networks and AXS TV. MLP’s YouTube channel will provide full event coverage.

Monday, Dec. 4

• 8 a.m. PT: Challenger Match #1 – St. Louis vs. California (MSG Networks, AXS TV, MLP YouTube)
• 10 a.m. PT: Premier Match #1 – D.C. vs. Orlando (Tennis Channel, MSG, AXS & MLP YT)
• Followed by: Premier Match #2 – Chicago vs. Miami (TC, MSG, AXS & MLP YT)
• Followed by: Premier Match #3 – D.C./Orlando losing team vs. Chicago/Miami winning team (TC, MSG, AXS & MLP YT)

Tuesday, Dec. 5

• 9:30 a.m. PT: Challenger Final – St. Louis/California winner vs. SoCal (TC, MSG, AXS & MLP YT)
• 12 p.m. PT: Premier Final – Match #1 winner vs. Match #3 winner (ESPN2)
