Joey Gmuer explains CRBN eyewear. * Buy CRBN eyewear with 10% discount using PBALLPIRATES code: https://crbnpickleball.com/discount/pballpirates?rfsn=6451222.1c00da&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=6451222.1c00da Rocketball, squash, and lacrosse have all mandated some form of eye protection. So, should pickleball be next? Because just recently, pro Jesse Irvine had to pull out of a pro pickleball tournament because she got hit in the eye. She had to miss the next day as well because she failed the concussion protocol. And here it is, pro Jesse Irvine, top left, and corner Dylan Frasier didn't mean to do that. Irvin taking that ball off the side of her face, a forehead shot. Yeah, Dylan Frasier definitely did not mean to do that. Luckily, it was not a direct shot to the eye. She did fail the concussion protocol. It's not great getting hit right there. Obviously, Fraser not—this wouldn't have happened if she was wearing eye protection like pro number one, Anna Lee Waters. And she looks pretty cool wearing them, right? I want to be on Lee Waters. And with the new technology and your pickleball paddle making that pickleball move faster than ever, spin faster than ever, the kitchen line from Kitchen line is still 14 ft, right? So, I think that's a pretty good case for eye protection in the future being mandated in pickleball. Do I like it? Not really, that could happen, right? It did to me, that's why I got these CRBN sent me these protective glasses, and they have a lot of different features. Feature one: if it's sunny, you could pop these protective lenses in and look pretty cool, right? If it's really sunny and they throw up an overhead, we know what to do. And it's beautiful. I will say I do feel a bit faster when wearing these because I don't have to worry about protecting my head, right? I can duck if the ball's coming at me. I might try to hit it, right? Because I don't want to get in the eye, because it's human nature. So, I do feel quicker. One other thing, they don't fog. I went to Penn State, and I had to wear those crap goggles. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say crap on air, but they fog up all the time, right? These don't fog. I sweat more than anyone, I would put money on it, and I was pretty impressed with CRBN's glasses. If you have a bigger nose like me, they give different pieces, right, to fit your face, to customize your glasses just for you. And you get this beautiful case, right? Zips up, and after you're playing, just throw your glasses into this beautiful CRBN protective case, zip it up, and don't worry about scratching them. And I did say these don't fog up, but if you get a lot of sweat on them, they do send cloth for you to wipe them down, right? Pretty cool. And you look cool in the inserts when it's sunny. If you want to change them, I'll show you how right now. You just pop out the bottom inserts, then take out the glass. Then you get the clear insert, just pop it in. When I first did this, I was afraid I'd break it because I break everything, right? But these are made very intuitive. It just pops in, right? Pops in. Then you take the bottom insert and pop that in. Make sure you have it in the right grips. And I'm not amazingly talented at this stuff, but I will say it's pretty simple, right? Pretty simple. One other thing, if you have prescription lenses, let me show you how you put those in. There's grooves right here, they snap into it, they snap into it, right? Then you just put them on. It's that simple. And you see clear as day, right? Pickleball lovers, if you're looking for protective glasses that look cool, that are usable, that function extremely well, I'd recommend CRBN. If you like these glasses, Pball Pirates on CRBN's website, save 10%, and pickleball lovers, don't forget to have a good day, always. One more thing, pickleball will never get slower, it's going to keep getting faster and faster as the new tennis players come into this sport. So, it's time to wear protection, you know what I mean?
