This Takes Away your Ability to Be Offensive at Pickleball

If you’re going to let the dink bounce in pickleball… your footwork HAS to change. One of the biggest mistakes I see is players keeping their feet parallel to the kitchen line after they’ve already decided to take it off the bounce. When your stance stays square and your knees are close to your paddle, you get jammed. No backswing. No space which takes away so many offensive options. So instead, use a small drop step. If the ball is landing near your feet so your stance becomes slightly 45° — semi-open, semi-closed. That drop step allows for: More space. More balance. More offensive options. #pickleball #pickleballtips #selkirksport Source: All Things Pickleball
