Pickleball is a life-changing sport. It brings people together, breaks down barriers, and builds communities. Today, we’re taking that power and putting it to work — in the biggest way we ever have. We just launched The Paddle Project, a new nonprofit with a simple mission: provide underserved communities with the three things they need to enjoy the benefits of pickleball: paddles, instruction, and courts. Together, we can grow the sport, and change the world. Our first project begins here in New Jersey, where we have partnered with Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children, an organization in Paterson, NJ serving women and children in need. We will donate paddles and run free clinics through Montclair Pickleball. We are also reaching out to organizations around the globe and sending them paddles and nets along with "how-to" material and advising calls so local leaders can teach the sport with confidence. We are also working towards building two pickleball courts in an underserved community in New Jersey. Paddles will be donated by our Paddle Partners, including our three Founding Paddle Partners: JOOLA, Franklin Sports, and Engage Pickleball How you can be part of it: - Donate to help us put paddles, coaches, and courts where they’re needed most - Send in or drop off a gently used paddle - Spread the word so others can join the movement With any questions about The Paddle Project, feel free to email us at [email protected].
