3 types of dinks you’ll see pickleball pros use 👇🏼 The best players don’t try to hit the same dink from every position. They adjust the shot based on where the ball is in relation to their body. 1. SCOOP DINK Great when the ball gets slightly behind you or you’re forced to take it off the short hop. The scoop helps you get underneath the ball and reset it back into the kitchen. 2. SLICE DINK Great when the ball pulls you out wide and your contact point is outside the frame of your body. From this position, the slice is a natural way to control the ball and add some shape. 3. TOPSPIN DINK This is the one you want when you have time to get behind the ball, create space and get balanced. From there, you can be more aggressive with your spin, placement and angles. The takeaway: don’t force one type of dink onto every ball. Your positioning + contact point should determine the shot you hit👊🏼 #pickleball #pickleballaddict #pickleballdrills #pickleballtips #pickleballplayer Source: All Things Pickleball
