The post, simply titled “No one plays here, so we made our own court,” features a photo of a DIY court painted by hand on a former cricket pitch. The OP explains:
“Figured we should try pickleball but literally no one knows about it. Found an empty cement court… used house paint, a brush, and some masking tape. COURT LINES ARE BLOODY HARD TO GET STRAIGHT.”

The post quickly took off in r/pickleball, sparking everything from admiration to jokes about inevitable noise complaints. One commenter warned:
