LOTTO’s first pickleball collection is launching in over 400 DICK’S Sporting Goods locations throughout the country this month.

Pablo Tellez, a member of the Brooklyn Aces of Major League Pickleball and a top 10 player on the PPA Tour, has been announced as a LOTTO Brand Ambassador.

The pickleball collection from LOTTO includes pickleball paddles ranging in price from $150 to $250. This collection includes the following paddles:

  • Ultimo Pro (14mm & 16mm)
  • Ultimo (14mm & 16mm)
  • Arco (16mm)

Tellez plays with the Ultimo 16mm. All of the LOTTO paddles are edgeless, have the cutout near the throat, and usually weigh between 8.1 - 8.3 oz. He says there really is no need for lead tape because the paddle feels great out of the box and there aren’t any dead spots.

Additionally, the pickleball collection from LOTTO includes the Mirage and Raptor footwear lines, which range in price from $70 to $150.

Pablo actually wears both shoes. The Raptor has a thicker material on the outside, so he wears these during his singles matches for durability. The Mirage is a little lighter, so he chooses this model for his doubles games.

The Brooklyn Aces, of Major League Pickleball, recently announced in June that LOTTO has become an owner of the team. LOTTO joined the ownership group that includes Kevin Durant, Rich Kleiman, Drake, Michael B. Jordan, and others.

LOTTO is the official apparel sponsor of the Brooklyn Aces, integrating the LOTTO logo into the Brooklyn Aces logo and on the player apparel.

Pablo Tellez is going to be the face of the LOTTO pickleball launch, both digitally, and on the product packaging throughout the DICK’S Sporting Goods stores. Pablo becomes part of a prestigious lineup of over 300 LOTTO athletes globally.

"Having the chance to represent a brand like LOTTO with such a long-standing heritage in sports is an amazing opportunity," Tellez said. "I have never worn more comfortable footwear – LOTTO’s shoes really help me compete at my highest level. I’ve noticed since joining LOTTO a new comfort level on the court and the LOTTO Ultimo pickleball paddle has taken my game to the next level."

"Adding Pablo Tellez to our roster of pro athletes is a strategic move as we build a presence in pickleball – the fastest growing participation sport in the U.S.," said Jameel Spencer, Chief Marketing Officer, Fashion & Athletic Verticals at WHP Global. "With our pickleball collection now at DICK’S Sporting Goods stores and online, we are applying the same meticulous approach and attention to detail that has made LOTTO world-renowned for innovation and performance in footwear and apparel for over 50 years."

LOTTO’s history in sports stems from both soccer and tennis. A.C. Milan and Juventus F.C. are two professional soccer teams that have worn LOTTO apparel. Tennis players such as Martina Navratilova, Marion Bartoli, and one of Pablo’s biggest idols growing up, David Ferrer, have also worn LOTTO. The Colombian National Soccer Team, Pablo’s home country, has worn the LOTTO brand as well.
