The Dink and Buick Team Up To Launch Multi-City Pickleball Social Mixer Series

The Dink, pickleball's premier media and events company, has partnered with Buick to level up the pickleball experience with Courted: a four-city social mixer series that reimagines what a pickleball event can be.

This isn’t a tournament. It’s a social mixer with pickleball flavor, a curated day of music, drinks, open play, and off-court vibes, made for young professionals who want to connect, move a little, and maybe learn to play in the process.

Think just enough pickleball to break a sweat, and break the ice at the same time.

What is Courted?

Courted is built for work-hard play-hard millennials and Gen Z: no pressure, no brackets, no awkward icebreakers. It's an active social gathering of cool humans and good energy, with enough pickleball (and a few beverages) to keep things interesting.

What to Expect at Courted – NYC Kickoff

Kicking things off in NYC, our packed afternoon will include:

• Mini-Games: that add a competitive spark: Fastest Serve Challenge, Hit & Win, and more team-based games for a little competition and chances to win cool stuff.
• Drinks & Cocktails: sip a spritz and enjoy a couple cold ones court-side.
• Open-Play Time: to mingle, partner up, and keep the rallies going.
• Cardio-Pickleball: active sessions to break a little sweat and up your WHOOP strain in a friendly group setting.
• Pro Challenge & Exhibition: ever wanted to play against a pro? Major League Pickleball's Brooklyn Pickleball Team will be in attendance, with a special appearance from top-ranked professional Riley Newman.
• Learn-to-Play Sessions: led by coaches, ideal for first-timers or anyone brushing up on their paddle game.
• Experience Buick: a chance to check out Buick's newest vehicles, and maybe do a quick interview in the backseat.
• More: DJ on the 1s and 2s, golf simulators, Instagram-able moments and plenty of swag.
